As a Fish and Wildlife Administrator your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Supervises Fishery field stations as a program level supervisor within the USFWS Fish and Aquatic Conservation Program, exercising the full range of supervisory and managerial duties for a diverse professional staff. Serves on Regional and National task groups relating to fisheries management and pertinent fisheries issues as a technical expert representing the Service. Provides liaison, general technical information, assistance, and cooperation to field offices, Federal and State agencies, and the public relative to their roles and responsibilities under the assigned programs. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating program all associated activities. Develops and executes key regional policies and criteria for the effective and efficient operation of this program and the associated field station activities across the Region. Partners with the ARD and other supervisors to develop significant recommendations for distribution of FAC Program funds, including budget planning and preparation and reports of accomplishments. Only experience and education obtained by 11/19/2020 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess both the Basic Requirement and Minimum Qualification. Basic Requirement:
. A Bachelors or higher degree from an accredited college or university in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to this position. OR A combination of education and experience--courses equivalent to a major, or at least 30 semester hours in courses in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional education. OR Four years of experience that demonstrates my knowledge and understanding of one or more of the biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, or a related discipline that is equivalent to that which would have been acquired through completion of a 4-year course of study in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. Minimum Qualification GS-14:
One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience includes irecting policy and staff functions; developing short- and long-range plans and formulating and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for a regional or national program; supervising staff work on programmatic issues; advising management concerning controversial and complex issues; and managing a budget for assigned programs and determining the need for special projects and studies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time In Grade Requirement:
Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically, i. Area of Consideration. ii. Time-in-grade (TIG) requirements as specified in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. iii. Time after competitive appointment as specified in 5 CFR 330.502. iv. Qualification requirements outlined in OPM's Qualifications Standards for General Schedule Positions or for Federal Wage System (FWS), wage grade positions, applicants are evaluated using the OPM Job Qualification System for Trades and Labor Occupations and the job element examining method Your SF-50 will be used to confirm you meet all requirements

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
