Women?s Health Services Clinic located in Red Bluff, California, will be opening in late October 2018 offering primary and specialty care services in a rural community. Seeking a full time experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient primary health care services. The position will split time between the new clinic and another Rural Health Clinic in Red Bluff or Cottonwood. Candidates must eligible for credentialing under the hospital and have a current, unencumbered license to practice in California with prescribing authority; current DEA number and National Provider Identifier (NPI) number; establish a CAQH profile, and be able to obtain credentialing through Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial insurance plans. Spanish speaking skills and electronic medical records highly desirable. Position Summary:
As a Nurse Practitioner, the incumbent delivers services in a team based, patient-centered primary care clinic serving insured and uninsured children and adults with a special emphasis on care for persons who experience barriers to accessing care due to income, language, cultural and social barriers. The incumbent must be willing to work a flexible schedule when circumstances necessitate as well as participating in On-Call rotation with other clinic providers. The incumbent will report to the Director Rural Clinics
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient primary care clinic, community health center, etc.
+ Masters Degree in Nursing
+ RN, NP, BLS, and DEA certifications
+ Active licensure as a registered nurse in California or possession of a temporary California RN license (TL) a California (California Code of Regulations, Section 1482), and Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing from the California State Board of Nursing.
+ National Nurse Practitioner Certification in good standing from either the: AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners), or ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center).
+ Prescribing & Dispensing Authority in good standing from the California Board of Nursing (if dispensing medications) and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (if dispensing narcotics).
+ National Provider Identifier (NPI) number; satisfactory report from the National Practitioner Data Bank; and ability to successfully meet the organization's credentialing and privileging processes upon hire and biannually thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish is highly desirable
+ ACLS preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
